He would kinda hover then dart, hover then dart. I don't know if he was on the prowl or just figuring out who his new tank mates are. Finally at dinner he asked what it was. After I said it's a shrimp hatchery for the baby fish, he just went about getting his pizza without saying a word. I think after 10 years of this GF business, getting rid of my 90 only to get a 75 a few years later, nothing surprises him anymore. This above is too cute. What a great husband you have Lisa. (made me laugh) Your also "Lucky" you got lazy and didn't do that initial clean up/water change after not seeing the fry in the tank. He could have been unlucky and went down the drain. Even 2 Ranchus won't produce all dorsal-less offspring. But I bet that calico pattern is recessive and I end up with a carbon copy of momma fish--orange ryukinish fantailish fish. That's fine with me! I highly doubt it will be a chu. This is one if those plants I bought that I later found out should be grown partially emersed. I finally found a way to do it. Alyssa made some spawning mops for me just in case.
