They do best in schools 5+ min tank size is 10gal I think. Just do to swimming and schooling. A 20L planted with 10-15 would be awesome.

I do have a 10 gallon that is long. Right now I have a turtle in there.

I 5gal would be good for a betta or maybe a pair of dwarf gourami. snail and shrimp would be cool too. Just saying there is a lot you can do with a 5 gal.

I'm not sure about the those they get 3-4" :o

I'd try the wcmm over them.

But do as you wish lol just wanted to caution about the size.

And they are cold water fish. ;). They can get thicker and bigger and come in two different colors and are sometimes multi. (At least in my LFS they are :peeka) :rofl so maybe a 10 gallon would be best. No heater, just a filter and you should be good to go. ;)

As they get bigger I move them to my 10 gallon they will be small when I buy them
