Adorable looking Ranchus, guys!

Love your calicoes, Helen. I actually finally decided this weekend that my first goldfish will be a Calico Ranchu. :)

you should! PM EastCoastRanchu, our forum sponsor, she's bound to have a calico chu for you! :)

Yes, I contacted her yesterday. I didn't know she was a sponsor here, so I actually first sought her out on ebay. I should have my first goldfish this Tuesday. I'm really excited, but also really nervous. It's time to put the month of studying theory into practice...

LOL, I wish I had a ranchu. :rofl

You have the best kind of ranchu, really easy to take care with no clean up.

I'd keep my eye on him though...seems a bit sketchy.

My chus had very little wen. I don't feed wen-enhancing food or bloodworms, so maybe that was a factor. One of my chus was my biggest and fastest growing fish, but even when he topped 100 grams, he still had no wen. :idont

I always liked them with little or no wen growth.

Guess it's just a preference.

Ruby wants to be part of the fun! I've had her for about 3 months. This pic was from when I got her and she was in my old 20 gallon. She's in a 40 breeder now and has fattened up a little bit, though she's still small. She has a really beautiful little tail when you view her from above but alas, I don't seem to have any pics of that!

Ok, good. I'm not the only one!

I'll have to add my Waddles to the thread. Feeling too lazy right now. :rofl
