hi guys :)

again, i have needed to remove a few tumors from Leonidis. this time, my video recording did not stop too soon! and i managed to get the entire procedure on video.

first up, preparations:

preparing everything took some time as i also prepared 4 batches of 0.1% salt to add to the recovery tank in case i needed to make multiple waterchanges very fast. i figured, even if i did't immediately need it, that would be good for the next 4 x 100% wc's following surgery just the same :)

_________________________________________________________________________________________

now, the procedure... it comes with a warning:

please note: the following video displays a fish in surgery. there is initial flinching, some blood and a crazy woman with an aussie/greek accent.

i will update with a few vids on how he's recovering in QT in a few days :D

thanks for watching :)

WOW you are brave! I wouldn't have the cahones to do that. How stressful it must have been. Good job! Is it common for fish to get tumors?
