Beautiful Alex. I especially liked your Moor because he's the oldest. :) I loved your slide show and the music you picked out for it. You took awesome photo's.

They are beautiful, Alex! Hyperion looks like Monroe!

Thank you, Sara Jo! There is most definitely a resemblance, except Hyperion doesn't have Monroe's beautiful butterfly tail! :)

Oh gorgeous!!!! (AS always..... :rofl )

Thank you, Haley! :rofl

Great photos, Alex! For whatever reason Boss Tammy made me laugh; what a brilliant name. :rofl

Hehe, thank you, Daniel! :rofl

We'll be meeting Boss Lisa, next week! :pp

Gorgeous fish Alex! I can't believe you have a guy who is 5 years old! I'm inspired by that.

Thank you, Cindi! Some days I can't believe it, either, but Othello is still a far cry from our record 13 years. For most of those 13 years, we just had a single fish, because he would do away with any and all tank mates. :o

Thank you, Heidi! :)

Beautiful! :heart ...but I had trouble reading the title :rofl

Amazing Alex! I had a veil-tail oranda, and had him for 4 years. :o. He must have been 1-2 when I bought him already.

Thank you, Shelly! :)

I didn't remove the black moon sand. That's the 100 gallon. This one had gravel for the longest time, and I had to change it when a terrible disaster occurred. I am much happier with the sand, and I imagine the fish do, too! :)

I haven't run in at least a month, so I'd say you've got me on the hills. I'm just waiting for my stomach to go back to normal, and then I'll be right behind you! My VFF's have been so sad lately! :o

Luna launched their Osos...did you see? :o :O I can't imagine my life without my Monos!!!

I haven't been proper running in quite awhile either, but I still run up hills for the fun of it. :)

The Osos are only marginally different to the Leadville sandal--really I don't see the point in bringing out a product that is that similar. They are, however, trying to grow as a company, so cudos to them.

Sorry for derailing the thread guys.

I'm not sure if everyone noticed, but every fish in this tank is male. This is the bachelor pad! :rofl

Thank you! :rofl

Is it easy to keep the sand clean?

Very! There is hardly anything to siphon up on the sand, and the fish spend all dash turning the sand over. This is definitely my favorite substrate.

The only problem is that sand is not filter impeller friendly, so even with precautions taken to make sure sand doesn't go into the filter, expect your filters to have a shorter lifespan than with other, or no, substrates.
