good work sweetie :heart

i do see a little bit of scales that appear to be slightly prickly here:

this could just be a reaction to all that is happening with her and a little stress. if the infection is within her body also, then we're already on the correct medicines for pineconing symptoms. so, business as usual young lady :)

please increase the Epsom dose to 1/2 teaspoon for every 10 gallons for the next 2 days. ok?

Hi, I've decreased the melafix to half dose and increased the epsom to 1/2 teaspoon per 10 gallons. Here are photos from today. She was very grumpy today, kept trying to get out of her holding container and wouldn't stay still, didn't want me to touch her to move her back into her QT tub.

Okay here we go!

Today I got a new heater so it should help get the QT Tub warmer than the other one.

She was a lot calmer today than yesterday. Today was the last day of the 4 doses of medicated food I had in the fridge, should I get more out the freezer?

By the way, Sorry for the late update today, Being at work all day then had to do some shopping and have dinner and not feeling too good myself and wow time goes fast when you have so much to do

no need to apologise hun :heart

would you look at that fancy work Honey's got going there? wow! that eye has pulled right back into position as though nothing ever happened! and in such a short time! you're doing a wonderful job with her :heart:bighug

no prickly scales at all now, very happy with her progress :)

there is still a fair amount of fluid at the base of both eyes. so, i would like you to continue the medfeeds to 14 days all up. we will reassess the metro gelfood on the 13th day. we may need to go the full course of 30 days.

i would like you to now reduce the Epsom salt to 1/4 teaspoon for every 10 gallons and continue the Melafix at half dose. what day Epsom are we on currently? from beginning?

OK daily update time! I've just done her waterchange, reduced the epsom to 1/4 teaspoon. The new heater I bought yesterday is working a lot better so the temperature is now around 23.5

I think she is looking really good today! (and she put up a huge fight today when I tried to get her into her holding container and then back in her tub!)

Oh! I just wanted to add, that now the white bits are looking less fluffy/stringy and more like...how to say, like when you get bits of dry skin or something and it goes whiter than the rest of your skin. Could that be funky slime coat? Or it healing funny after the fluid went down?

i think that white fluffy stuff was more infection related. which means, we're still fighting the nasty that presented. she is looking a lot better, i agree, but i do believe that we're still in early stages of whatever has affected her.

keep up the routine, you're doing a wonderful job and she's responding very well to treatment :)
