@ great_kahn

thank you, chubber chu is nearly 7" long 2 3/4" tall. i am not sure if the tumors are just genetic. i really don't know. i just remove them as they grow. goldfish are known to be tumor affected fish, suffering cancerous and non cancerous tumors. thankfully, Leonidis's tumors are non cancerous & can be removed the minimal TLC during sedation.

thank you for your compliments :heart i didn't expect that members would sit and watch all of the video :)

i'd say she'd be about 2 years tops. she's bred as a giant, meaning an extra tweak in genetically modifying goldfish. unfortunately, this means that she has a reduced life span. see it this way, smaller dogs live longer than larger dogs, should they not encounter health issues along the way..

can't say.. it depends where the fish came from. how it was raised.. and like humans, you can become sick at any given time with the slightest influence. immune systems are really to the individual. a general lifespan that discussions here bring is between 2-5 years. anything extra is a bonus.

Your tank is gorgeous like always Helen. I love all your plants. :)

I miss not seeing Mr. Disabled in your tank. I hope you are doing okay.

Your fish are beautiful and I especially love Miss Piggy.
