Beautiful fish!!

What is the grassy plant on the right side? It looks like a fun playground for the fish!

I don't even know. My daughter gave me one a few years ago. I gave a piece to my son. I killed the original one when I bleached it then got a piece from my son : ). They grow like crazy though and the goldies do not eat them !!

After looking at an older video of that same tank it appears that plants on the right is a crypt. Well more like several of them. They put out runners.

the older tank video those were definitely crypts but I killed all those bleaching also. this plant may be a different variety of crypt. it was a big long stem with roots all up and down it so I laid it over and weighed it down and it's now bushing out but will get tall and leggy with roots along stem again. I didn't think crypts grew like that but like I said it may be a variety that does.

your plants are so green, I'm jealous. I lack a green thumb. Do you use Co2 or fertilizers?

I've got the flourish products. sometimes I put in the regular flourish tabs, flourish liquid and flourish excel (liquid carbon). No Co2.

Your tank and Goldie's are GORGEOUS!!!!!!! Do you have a problem with the airstone being close to the filter?

Hey cathys, is this a dirt tank capped with eco complete?

no it's all eco complete. I had 8 bags in there but took some out. it was recommended with the goldfish to not have it so deep. I should probably take

more out but it's recommended 2 to 3 inches for plants.

well I had just moved it back when I was vacuuming the substrate but need to move it back. it's probably getting air in the filter for sure.
