* Any unusual findings on the fish such as "grains of salt," bloody streaks, frayed fins or fungus?odd belly shape

* Any unusual behavior like staying at the bottom, not eating, etc.? Sinks straight to the bottom only moments after swimming up. Will quickly go to the surface and launch out her head out for a gulp of air, she will then sunk down and release a large amount of air.

I woke up this morning and notice sage was sitting at the bottom breathing heavily . Immediately I get a few peas to see if that would help elevate any possible constipation. This happened after the third round of prazi . Feeding schedule has been fairly consistent and supplied with loads of veggies. I'm a bit worried and stressed about this because its getting closer to the end of the school year and this is the last thing I need. I will get a video and photos up tomorrow as it is too late tonight. But I was thinking of fasting for two days but if needed I do have metromeds just incase this is a swim bladder infection.

Hi Thao,

Sorry Sage is not feeling well. I'll wait for the video.

Just to be clear, you are not treating with Prazi at the moment, right?

The red on her belly was from bottom sitting on the substrate I removed it as soon as I could and that happened to be last night. :( Guess it was too late

Is she eating, Thao? Put her back on the MMs, and do a round of Prazi as well.

She has bounced back 70% since last night

Actively swimming and gobbling up the mms very quickly! She's even had a large amount of the red sore on her belly fade away

I added prazi this morning

Sage is already 100% better looking actively swimming and looking for food. Her belly still has some red but almost all of it is gone :D

Will post an update in the morning

So there's no noticeable red except for some red streaks on the pelvic fins. Sage does take breaks while swimming but is doing much better than my first post. Just wondering if it would be alright for me to do a 80% water change tomorrow?
