fantailfan1 26,742 Posted May 19, 2013 I got a new baby fish yesterday. S/he was labeled a R&W ryukin but we'll see about that. Probably another fantail for me! We went in to get a plant for my son's tadpole. I fell in love the minute I saw him/her. I tried to talk myself out of it, but I knew if I left the fish behind I'd be kicking myself for weeks. He is a whopping 4 grams. I didn't measure him/her but I'd say maybe 1 1/2"? S/he's been in double prazi and 0.3% salt for about 18 hours and you wouldn't know there is anything in the water at all.
