Anubuas are the only plant that survives my Goldie monster. They have very tough, beautiful leaves! :D

I think it's probably better to use cotton strings than rubber bands as they are not as tight and leaving a rubber band in aquarium water probably isn't ideal. Cotton is a more fish-friendly material than rubber.

My silver dollars ate the leaves. I moved the plant to a shower caddy attached to the side of my tank. I hope it recovers.

Are you now growing it emersed? If it's not submerged, you'll want to make sure the leaves remain moist and do not dry out.
