Regular Member ashlee18 Posted June 2, 2013 Author Regular Member Share Posted June 2, 2013 (edited) It is really amazing. I am going to move them into a 10 gallon tomorrow. The 3 just isn't going to work much longer lol Oh, and I am starting to wonder about the father(s). The two "calico" looking ones have nice tails and make me wonder if the father is the calico butterfly tele. Regular Member bodoba Posted June 3, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted June 3, 2013 You've been doing a great job! I think the 10 gal upgrade is a good choice at 3 wks.

Regular Member ashlee18 Posted June 8, 2013 Author Regular Member Share Posted June 8, 2013 Wow they look so big! I feel like mine are still so small! What are you feeding them? They get baby brine shrimp that is hatched daily. They love it! I am going to start them on progold in a couple weeks. You've been doing a great job! I think the 10 gal upgrade is a good choice at 3 wks. I actually waited until they were four weeks old. Wow!? I'm late to join the fun!? Congrats and they are super cute and getting big so fast!! Thank you! I am super amazed at how fast they have grown. Here they are at three weeks and in the teaspoon. And here they are at 4 weeks (1 month 6/5/13) in a tablespoon!

It looks like I did it a few days early without realizing lol I don't see as much of a difference. They will start on progold next week And what do you all think of the tails? Possible butterfly on the two? 4 Weeks old 5 Weeks old Edited June 11, 2013 by ashlee18

Regular Member ashlee18 Posted June 14, 2013 Author Regular Member Share Posted June 14, 2013 Nice! It does look like the 2 mattes might be butterflies. Well I have just been informed by my brother that both my red and white oranda and big calico butterfly girl were being chased. So chances are, the two mattes are from the big calico and my little butterfly boy was a chaser.

Regular Member dnalex Posted June 29, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted June 29, 2013 No, they don't. Who do you think the parents might be?
Regular Member ashlee18 Posted June 29, 2013 Author Regular Member Share Posted June 29, 2013 I am guessing Kenny is the father of the two twins. He is my big calico ryukin. And I know he was nudging my big calico buterfly around the same time.
Regular Member dnalex Posted June 29, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted June 29, 2013 That would make sense, because they do have that ryukin shape to them. I wonder if they will get tele eyes.
