I am sure i am not the first person to "discover" this!!

i cleaned my silk plants in milton baby bottle sterilizing fluid 2 capfulls in a bucket with water 30 mins later rinse and soak in declorinator for 15 mins and they are spotless and look like new!!

just wanted to share! :) :)

Cracking tip Steve......I'll give that a try, all my plants are silk.

I won't be too clinical though....some of them have some juicy algae on them that my little beasties just luuuuvv!!! :popcorn:feedme

Who would have thought! Great idea, I got rid of all my silk plants a while ago because I was spending way too much money replacing them because I couldn't keep them clean. :)

Any sterilizing fluid used for baby bottles would work.

I use Wilko own brand for soaking coffee cups and to clean the kitchen sink.

So long as they have the same ingredients!! i have only tried Milton with silk plants :unsure:
