I love how nobody answers your question. They all just look at the images without even reading what you wrote

You will want to change at least 50% of the water daily until you get the right size tank for them. Do they have a filter on their tub?

I LOVE that very first one. My goodness, if you were anywhere close, I'd break into your house and steal him :rofl

thank you, yes they have the filter that was in the tank my brother in law bought, he let me use it for now, to avoid cycle. its an eheim 300lph internal,

i was planning on keeping them in the tub for a month?, im very naughty (and inexperienced)and never quarantined any of my fish before. i have a 5x2x2 ft tank unused because i was saving for two large external filters and a stand, after the month quarantine is up could i set up the 5ft tank on the floor and use all the internal filters i have... 2x 500lph, 1x 1000lph and a 1000lph external, would that be ok as a start?

Aww I love your new fishies! Sounds like you got some great advice already :D

I'm assuming that your tank is about 150 gallons, or about 567L by the size... So it looks like your at about 792lpg. I'm not terribly fluent in my Liters, but I'm thinking that your at about 5x filtration. Goldies tend to need a bit more (I'm at about 10x filtration myself) since they're so messy. I think that should be ok to start with, just keep on your water params :)

When mine had cloudy eyes it was because I had an ammonia spike. So that might be something to watch out for :)

Gorgeous fishies by the way

Hi Ema!! How are you today? :D

As it's less than 24 hours since you were lucky enough to adopt the little fella's, I'd concentrate on perfecting the quality of the water first and foremost.

Be careful not to introduce treatment where it isn't required at the moment....

Just a thought eh?? :thumb:

Yes it should do if it's related to poor water conditions. Just concentrate your immediate efforts on the water quality...hopefully, any fish treatment may be a bridge you'll not need to cross....

Fingers crossed for your efforts!! :thumb:
