Here is a series of pictures of my ranchu fry as they grew :) I just wanted to do this to compile the photos for everyone to see the growth of fry easier. This is from egg 1/26-now.

How big are they in the last photo? They look a lot bigger than I think they actually are.

In the last pic they are in a breeding box commonly used for guppies, I only used this for the pic, they don't live in there :). So if you know how big those boxes are it will give you an idea on their size

They look amazing! What are your plans for them? I really want to try raising fry eventually. My boys are chasing my ladies but no dice yet! :rofl

I have a few homes lined up, I am thinking of posting individual pics when they color up on kokos and seeing if anyone wants to buy some plus shipping, they won't be expensive since they are pet shop grade. I am going to keep 1 :) If I have leftover I can bring them to my LFS for store credit.

Also, this is just a condensed version of the pics I have, there are more pictures and videos on my blog Thank Goodness it's FInally Fry-day. I also explain the growth process, and you can see my beginner mistakes along with success with my first batch of fry ever.

You did such a great job. They look fantastic. It is really fun raising fry alongside you and comparing notes. I think we did great, but you especially, they've made a great recovery after the epic fluke battle.

Are these all from batch one or combined? It looks like you have one really fat dark one in there. Is that the metallic one I like? They all look so good! Love the fat tummies.

they look ok and should do well when moved to pond

Thanks :)

I also should have noted that they are not living in that breeder box, they are living in a 29 gallon tank at the moment, I only used the box to take pictures :)
