Phillyn17 740 Posted March 2, 2013 Hi guys..... I don't know if I'm lucky, but I get algae in abundance in both my tanks. Some of this obviously sticks to the tanks' inner glass, and although I have a powerful magnetic cleaner to remove the algae, the bristles on the cleaner sometimes leave very fine lines on the glass. It's also difficult to get the magnet right up to the edges of the side and base areas. To complete the job thoroughly and get rid of these lines, I use an old credit card....its soft enough to ensure the glass is not scratched, and lasts for months!! Hope this helps......apologies to anyone who has already thought of this!!

DawnMichele 6,045 Posted March 8, 2013 I guess an eyeglass cloth wouldn't be so good on the inside of the tank. It is good for the outside glass. LOL.
