thatfancygoldfish 366 Posted January 23, 2013 (edited) here is the video I promised. I did not catch him doing that weird bottom sitting thing! Note how clean the tank is even after 3 days Edited January 23, 2013 by Artsy Goldfish
dnalex 13,633 Posted January 23, 2013 He's looking quite good and active, Laura. I wouldn't worry about the poop so much at this point, because he is active and moving about.

dnalex 13,633 Posted January 24, 2013 I'd like regular updates (every day or every other day) for at least the next week, please, if you don't mind.
thatfancygoldfish 366 Posted January 24, 2013 I'm glad he's doing better. He is one beautiful fish! Me too I love him! I'd like regular updates (every day or every other day) for at least the next week, please, if you don't mind. Absoluetly!! Today he's active. I have not seen poop in the tank, this morning he got a tiny piece of repashy I cooked with beans in it. Tonight he is getting peas. I think I will regularly give him a fibrous vegetable serving every day.

thatfancygoldfish 366 Posted January 26, 2013 Don't worry about the poop so much. Have you removed Epsom? Oh yes, quite the while ago. Epsom treatment only lasted 3 days total I'm just used to having poop machines as pet I guess!

THUNDER 80 Posted January 27, 2013 That just to show how smart they are and they do have taste buds. They either know what their manures look like or know instantly when its in their mouth. :-)
thatfancygoldfish 366 Posted February 3, 2013 Hi Alex! I just wanted to give you an update. First I'd like to apologize for disappearing from the forum, my Mac is at the shop for hard drive repairs!! I'm still here! Activity and poop wise Sasha is doing great. I've cut down on the amount I feed him as we'll and its helping that I have one fast day a week now. I've noticed that his surface gulping is excessive though and never seems to stop. Do you know if there is a reason for this? I'm a bit confused as to why he's doing it all day every day when initially when I got him he wasn't!
dnalex 13,633 Posted February 4, 2013 What did the Fish Sempai use to feed Sasha? I hope the computer fixing goes smoothly, and quickly!
thatfancygoldfish 366 Posted February 4, 2013 What did the Fish Sempai use to feed Sasha? I hope the computer fixing goes smoothly, and quickly! Saki Hikari purple bag is what he used to feed. I have him on progold, but do have some hikari lionhead formula somewhere in my cabinet! Haha thank you! I hope so too! I'm going crazy without my laptop!
