Guest animal1998
I have two goldies, a pearlscale moor and an oranda. They are young, the oranda is only about 2inches the moor is only about 1. One is female one is male although I don't know which is which I don't know. They are in a 10gal tank now, don't give me grief about it they are dwarfed by it and we will get them a bigger one later, and I would like to know when they will start showing spawning behavior and maybe some fry?
Regular Member number20121 Posted January 9, 2013 Regular Member Share Posted January 9, 2013 They seem a bit small (young?) to start spawning. Generally they don't mature until they are about a year old. And then of course the conditions need to be right. As you know their tank is too small and this will probably keep them from spawning. But whenever you get a nice, bigger tank for them, they might just get excited and start spawning
