ztm 0 Posted January 2, 2013 Hi everyone, I'm trying to feed some garlic to my two Black Moor, since it's said to be beneficial (as should vitamic C, but I have not tried orange and lemon, yet). I've tried microwaving garlic bits (from frozen boxes), but they are eating and spitting out immediately. Do you have any suggestions to keep them healthy with garlic? Sometimes I manage to fill some soft pea bits with the garlic bits, hoping they'll eat all the bit at once. Quite successfully but tricky
Stratt14goldies 962 Posted January 2, 2013 How about you make a gel food with the garlic in it. That will allow them to get the nutrients from it
great_kahn 109 Posted January 2, 2013 (edited) Chop it real fine, maybe crush it. Mine went crazy for it. Also try starving them for a day. Edited January 2, 2013 by great_kahn

ztm 0 Posted January 3, 2013 I'll give it a try, I thought they were spitting because of taste, that would be the same in every form of garlic
