Don't know as I have no experience but I read on a fungus treatment that it treats eggs so if it is fungus I would treat with one of them, the whole batch . Wait for a few more views first . Maybe post a picture and good luck with the babies . :)

Bad eggs will still grow fungus even with fungus treatments.

I'm confused.

What do you mean even with fungus treatments?

Bad eggs will still grow fungus, yes, but if the treatment is effective, it should kill of the fungus.

But that is neither here nor there. Bad eggs should be removed.

Didnt I read some where that methylene blue can be used instead of water if you remove the eggs to say a small tank or container for safe hatching?

Yes, people do use methylene blue to treat eggs, exactly for this purpose :)

I do believe that it is a methylene blue SOLUTION though, and not M.B. being used instead of water :)

Or not?

Hehe, pure MB is a solid, and comes in crystal form :rofl

So yes, it has to be made up at the appropriate concentration. Kordon sells one that is at a stock solution of 2.3%, I believe. Then you add a certain amount of that per 20 gallons.
