tastyworms 396 Posted December 14, 2012 It's getting cold and distributors are. Starting to push wheat germ food. Is this easier to digest when their metabolism is reduced or is it just a myth? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk 2
shakaho 6,312 Posted December 14, 2012 I think it's just a marketing ploy. Most serious ponders prefer to just reduce feeding of the normal food when water temperatures are not quite cold enough to stoop feeding. Nevertheless, it's good business to stock some. Marketers know what they are doing, so the demand is there.
Lydia24 14 Posted January 9, 2013 I currently feeding Hikari Goldfish Wheat- Germ with Haikari Goldfish Gold. Has for the Wheat-germ being easy digested I not sure. My fish seem fine on it. How would you even know if your fish was digesting it better then the staple food?
