dakotak 225 Posted December 1, 2012 So I was able to get my hands on some pro-gold and omega one pellets and threw out the flakes not that long ago. I noticed everyone is getting quite big and I think I may be over feeding. I feed twice a day, 2-3 pinches of pro-gold in the morning and 1-2 pinches of omega one for dinner. I noticed in another topic that a member fed 0.50% of their body weight in ProGold daily. Would that be a good amount? What about for the omega one? I try to starve them for a day then give them each a pea each week, I have also tried different veggies, so far they only like peas. I'm trying spinach sometime this coming week. I also give them brine shrimp as a treat from time to time.
dnalex 13,633 Posted December 1, 2012 0.5-1% is a good range to start. Then you will just have to monitor growth to see if they are growing, and growing at a good but not too fast pace.
