it's a 20 Long. i'll do a huge water change right now. anything else? is bobby out of danger?

We still need to figure out what happened to Pickles before we can say that, because like Fantailfan said we don't know what is going on. Something I was thinking about is the fact that you were overstocked with 2 in that tank, so your water quality might have been a little on the bad side. I'm VERY happy you're switching off of flakes to gel, as the flakes aren't really too good for them. I have to ask: why the Golden Pearls?

the 20Long is temporary for the winter. i figured since they are/were so small it'd be okay for a short while. the comets are in the 29gal until their pond is ready again in the spring, and then bobby (and his future friend) will take over the 29gal. i just picked up a 55gal ($40!) that i haven't decided yet if it's gonna be a goldie tank or a tropical fish tank. it could be bobby's new home, and he could have even more friends! we shall see...

the food mix is what i feed my endlers/tropical community tank. i also have omega one goldfish flakes (all flakes get soaked for at least a minute before i feed them), but i figured all the stuff in the endler mix would be good for the goldies, too. i've only had these goldie tanks set up for less than 2 weeks, so i'm learning as i go. can't wait until the repashy gets here!

oh sorry, I only use prime in all of my tanks. everyone eats the same, gets a water change with prime at the same time. the only thing that is different is that the tropical tanks have heaters and the goldie tanks don't.

bobby and pickles came from the same tank at the LFS. everyone in the tank looked and still looks healthy. (i have since gone back to get a couple rams and a cory cat for my community tank. :) )

fortunately, bobby is still swimming normally and eating normally and seems perfectly fine.

the surrounding tanks at the lfs looked fine, too. i was going to mention that previously but wasn't 100% sure that the water in surrounding tanks was being shared with all the tanks. :) now i know... he he. i hardly ever see any sick fish at my lfs.
