Sunie 1 Posted November 13, 2012 So I think my elite 50wattt submersible heater is dieing( got it used with the ten gallon it's in.) Any suggestions for a new one, what brand do you like?
GoldenSpoiledRotten 6,786 Posted November 13, 2012 Aqueon Pro. It has no glass parts and heats to within 1/2 of a degree of the temp you set it at as far as my thermometer goes.
sarajo 566 Posted November 13, 2012 I use an aqueon submersible heater in my betta tank. Still trying to decide if the goldies will have one. I assume it's similar to the aqueon pro, its cheaper and works great
4prettyfish 2,702 Posted November 13, 2012 Aqueon Pro 200 is what I use for my goldfish's 55 gallon tank and I love it.

Sunie 1 Posted December 25, 2012 (edited) Merry Christmas! so I did not get aqueon pro today and the dieing heater has died. so I really really need a new heater for my ten gallon-my betta, Salvador Dali is about to going into my 1 gallon for fin rot treatment(aquarium salt and the only heater I have, a little under gravel one,a 1-3 gallon tetra filter and no substrate). the aqueon pro 50w is a little more than i can afford. so.... here are my question....... what is the maxi watt heater can I use in a ten gallon? how do you fill about tetra's submersible heaters?
