Does anyone remember goldfish food from mid 80's that looked like yellow cornflour?

I got my first goldfish in the mid to late eighties. I remember feeding my goldfish food that looked like yellow cornflour .

The food clouded the water like no other.

Does anyone else remember?

No, I don't remember this.

They had pellets and flakes even nearly 30 years ago.

When I had goldfish as a child in the early 1950s, the only form of food available in the dime store (which was the place you got goldfish) was flakes. I've never seen anything like that.

I can't say I've ever seen this before either, granted I wasn't alive in the 80s.

Am I the only one that thinks it looks like polenta or turmeric?
