How to prepare non-canned green beans for goldfish?

Recommended Posts

I have some green beans that are from my local grocer and not from a can or a bag. I know since I froze them I will have to thaw, but after that how do I go about preparing these for my fish?

Make sure they are cooked really well. And cut up into little pieces so it's easy for them to eat. Actually I have never cooked beans for my fish, but I do this with spinach and peas.

When I cook them, would it be best to boil on the stove or to steam them in the micro?

Either would be okay I think, but I always find things cook just a little better on the stove. (Don't forget to let them cool off before feeding to fish. :teehee )
