no, it's too hard.. steamed or boiled to become soft but be prepared, it then gets messy. i've had great success making pumpkin only into gel food and feeding it like that :)

I have fed my goldfish raw pumpkin guts in the past. It is a little stringy and tough for them to eat, so you should chop it up into tiny bits. In this video, you can see some of my past goldfish enjoying some raw pumpkin!

Aw, really? After finding out that my rats and now my fish could have eaten our pumpkin scrapes I feel like a jerk for throwing them away. :(
