Lovely pond! You'll only need a few koi in there to make giants.

I'll definitely have to go see, though I probably won't be able to find the babies~! Haha.

I love it! I used to live on a farm and had a very large pond (not as large as the one in your photos). I always wish I would have done something like this. Strangely, we did end up with about 10 very large koi in the pond, although none of us put them in there. I am guessing someone snuck in there at some point and "rehomed" their own goldfish

There are also turtles and a ton of frogs in this pond. Hopefully they don't eat all the fish!

The turtles and frogs wont get your goldfish. I did the same as you over 10 years ago. But with 100 feeder goldfish in a bigger pond. Your goldfish will get huge.

That pond is amazing! Wish I had one like that lol. Cute fish too - can't wait to see how big they grow up to be. :)

They just have to survive one winter and then they will proliferate, We have a lake near here where the fish eat the frogs :yikes No one fishes there cause the frogs make the fish taste funny.

:tomuch:

:yikes Heaven on earth for those little guys! And they were going to be an oscar's lunch! I can't wait to see them again (until they get bigger, you won't be seeing much of them). I'd probably sneak in a few orandas or fantails.

this pond is about 150x50x5' and is part of a property my business maintains. I just put 50 13 cent comets in it, with permission of course.

Do you still work here? Are the goodies still there?

Sadly, the pond is gone. It turns out my customer owned about 1/3 of the pond and the golf course next door owned about 2/3. The golf course sold to a developer who is putting in condos, and due to the grading of the road, building, etc, the pond was drained and ceases to exist.

So true. I really could have turned it into an amazing pond knowing what I know now compares to back then.

Aw that's such a shame :( So sad. The fish would have been so big and the pond would have been thriving by now
