Wow, they look like a betta goldfish mix. Very pretty :) is this a breeding pair (I assume)?

wow! i really enjoyed the whole vid.. and the music was nice too..

your coverage from beginning to end was so thorough! what was that worm like thing over the embryo? :yikes did you squish him? :blink:

It is a chironomid larvae. You might know it better as a bloodworm. I did not worry about it.

On an Australian note I just had a conference call with Canberra with Aphis and just got them to alter their import time frames for zebrafish. They require a federal health certificate to be obtained and then have the shipment made within 7 days from signing of tue document. The document is signed when we send it to the USDA. There and back takes 5 days and if you include a weekend it's just not feasible. they just gave a 14 day window! I can't believe I got them to change!
