Fish floating on side at top of tank after salt bath.

Recommended Posts

How long was she in the bath, Mike?

I haven't had a chance to look at the other thread yet, but will momentarily.

Let her. Keep her in the holding tank for longer if necessary, until she rights herself. She will.

She was in there for 5 minutes exactly. Sorry, maybe this shouldn't have been in the 911, it's just that the blue bounced back right away so this has me worried a bit.

It's OK. We will just leave this here, to check up on her.

I hope your fish feels better very soon :(.

I just wanted to let you know that there may be something off about the link to your original thread. When I click on it, I'm not taken to a thread, but to the general forum index.

Yes, salt dips are very beneficial, but can be a bit alarming sometimes lol.

I'm glad she is recovering! :)

Alex, if I could bake I would send you cookies :D lol. Is prazi the next step? And when should I put it in, I'm going to do a 50% water change here in a minute.

Yes, Prazi is next. :)

Make sure there is 0.1% salt in the tank also, OK?

Thanks for the new link. It worked perfectly.

The first time I salted my fish, I nearly fainted. Don't be afraid; it's good for them, on occasion. I do hope your baby feels better soon. :heart
