Sharkbait3 310 Posted August 18, 2012 Just wanted to say Button is coloring up well~~~the good water quality and food are doing the colors well, My question is, Do calicos pretty much keep their colors or do the change also ? I know black could change, but button has very little black~~~mostly white and orange............ thanks.............
Drowsy 161 Posted August 18, 2012 I'm curious about this, myself. I have Gaston and am really hoping that he'll keep his colors...
shakaho 6,312 Posted August 18, 2012 For goldfish, calicos are pretty stable.

Helen 8,511 Posted August 18, 2012 yes, calico's do change colours. even spots!.. my fantail rocky, she's almost 8 years old.. she's changed her base colours many times and i did notice spots that faded and reappeared.. sometimes in the same area, sometimes in other areas.. this, as well as colouring on her tail.
