Rooty And Spot Update

Recommended Posts

Guest PeachesCat

When we last left Rooty and Spot, Rooty had ich and flukes. Spot also started swimming strangly, so I figure another case of the flukes. After treating with Ich meds, Rooty is 98% ich free. Will have to continue treating with the Prazi for another 4 days, changing the water every day as instructed by the bottle.

If everything goes according to plan, next week (weekend) Rooty and Spot will be joining Oscar and Sherbert!

And will soon be transferred into a 55 gallon tank (scheduled for the 29th!)

Real interesting how Rooty gets better after HappyGoldfish posts.... HMMMM... should have HappyGoldfish post Lotto numbers!

thats great news, peaches!!! :happydance

not a day goes by without me wondering how your new little pond dogs are doing!

i woner why your brand of praziquantel meds tells you to do water changes? all of the prazi products that ive checked out say that water changes arent necessary.

hmmmm.

anyway, im glad to hear that they are doing well!

Wonder no more Toothy!

It is AquaScience Professional Aquarium Drugs & Chemicals PraziPro.

Sold By Goldfish Connection!

The bottle says re-dose the water on a daily basis with partial water changes before each re-dosing. Treat for 5 to 7 days. Do not use with any other drugs or treatments.

oh, i see! (i think)

maybe its just a different dosing regemine. like smaller, more frequent doses rather than one or two larger ones. either way, its supposed to be THE best thing for flukes and other wormlike parasites!

keep us posted! ;)
