Is it a patch of red, Mandie? You may have to hold him and then take a pic, so as to get some clearer shots.

In the mean time, why don't you salt to 0.1%, or 20 level teaspoons. Make sure you dissolve first before adding it to the tank :)

actually, It isn't like there is a patch of red on his tail. It is more like there is a weird red blobby thing growing on his tail. It sticks out a bit :(

edit- only 20 teaspoons? not 25? :)

Oh :( hm. He is so wiggly, it's really hard to take pictures of him. I'll ask my dad if I can use his camera to make a video a little later. :) sorry about that! :)

But it really isn't much to see, it just looks like a red glop on his fin. :)

I don't think that it's anything to lose sleep over. I hope salt will fix the issue ASAP, but I would like to see it more clearly before saying anything.

Are you uploading it to YouTube? You can also upload it to photobucket. :)

Let's stick to multiples of 20 for the salt. You may need to go to 0.2%, and 40 is easier than 46. :)

Don't increase the salt to 0.2% yet though. I'm just thinking aloud.
