He's a little nervous, and is sitting behind the plants. i hope he isn't one of those boring ones that sit all the time! :(

He's a little red halfmoon betta. :)

He's swimming a little more now, but not quite as much as Id like!

Do you think he's just nervous, or did I get a lazy one? :P

He could just be nervous. Just imagine if you were put into a container on a shelf for who knows how long, then the stressful trip from the shelf to the tank, and then being left in the tank. When I got Clemens he didn't swim around too much for the first few days, but now that's he's gotten used to the tank, and gotten used to me being around, he's become king of the tank.

He is beautiful! The white could mean that he is a butterfly betta :) But I don't think he is a HM, he looks like a delta. But he is gorgeous anyway :D

So pretty Mandie! Congratulations! A butterfly betta is when the overall colour blends into a white/transparent band around the fins like the white edging :) The 'Butterfly' is just a name for the colour pattern. He looks more like a delta like Ashley said, pet stores have a habit of labeling things wrong :P Very pretty though, you must be very exited :D

He's lovely, Mandie. I'm sure once he settles in he'll be swimming around like nobody's business.

I love the white edging, too! He probly has to learn to be a fish - imagine living all your life in a small space, then suddenly having a bigger one...it takes some time to adjust.

Congratulations on the new fish.

He is lovely Mandie! If he is on the shy side you can always add more plants. That makes my guys nuts lol!
