i bought a calico ryukin and then reaized when he got into the QT by himself that he had one on his dorsal fin and one on his tail fin. I was sqeamish about picking it off, mostly because my tweezers could stab him if he flailed suddenly!
so i had the idea to use a soft toothbrush and gently but firmly brushed off both and threw them under the microscope for educational purposes...i HOPE that's all there were! there aren't any apparent, and he got into QT from LFS within 2 hours....cross fingers!
Fishy did a good job and let me brush his fins! Now his dorsal is way up and unclamped!
