    Cross Species

While searching for a buddy for my Bubba (a nice orange oranda) I came across an odd sight at my local fish store. What I found (at brought home) was a gorgeous little moor pearlscale cross. Eyes and tail clearly moor but scales pearl and then the body a combination of the two. Here's a pic: Anyone else have any crosses?
  2. I found this little girl at my local non chain LFS. I saw her and kept coming back to her tank and took her home. She sat at the bottom of the tank at first and wouldn't eat until I had to hand feed her some freeze dried tubifex worms. She is now swimming around happily and I think she just was weak from having her regular large pearlscale buddies take all of the food and she now eats almost as much as Bubba. She has the body and tail shape and eyes of a moor but her scales (which you can't see on my cell phone camera but they are there) scream pearlscale. What do you think? Her name's Rosie. She is in the bag acclimating in the picture,
