Now by the help of this wonderful site lots of us have started breeding our own.For future reference, better assumption, moreover in order to preserve good quality fish we need to share the photos of our family photos of goldfish. Mine are still too young as they will reach 3 months old i will upload the whole family photos of them . Note: please do-not upload any fake families as well as if you are not sure who the parents are.

I was wondering if anyone had any advice about the different breeds of Goldfish. I have a 100L (2USgal) tank which is cycling at the moment. It is not planted (ornaments are all soft silicon and the resin one has no sharp edges), and my water parameters will be ph8, kh55, gh215. I wanted two to three goldies, but don't know which breed is best for me, or how many is suitable for my tank. I also wanted some snails to clean up too. I have looked into Pearlscales as they don't grow as big as some of the other varieties and they are so darn cute. Also Ryukin and fantails. Any advice? I really wanted Orandas, but I have read on other websites their wens can be prone to infections. Are they really more difficult to look after than other breeds? Thanks so much for your help!

Hi there, I hope I'm posting this in the right place... Here is a picture of my favorate goldfish... (Sorry the picture is soo large!) Random questions that arn't soo important about him... I know he is a fancy goldfish but what do you think in his genetics caused this color? Where does the color come from? What kind of goldfish (besides comets!) have it often? I'd love to get more like it! Could I breed more like it ever? I LOVE this gold color!!!

This is my second goldfish Cloud 9... I was wondering what breed "it" is and I also wondered if goldfish's fins continued to grow as they grew up? I really hope so because I see these beautiful long finned fish and I can't find them anywhere... Thanks! P.S. There is actually NO yellow on him. It is just the glare from the lamp next to their tank. He is all pinkish white. P.S.S. He has a tiny tiny wen. P.S.S.S. Lets just pretend for a moment I'm NOT a photography student or that these aren't my pictures. LOL
