For my birthday my boyfriend got me a wonderful gift, a telescope goldfish that I had wanted from Rain Garden. He arrived yesterday and I have gotten him into his quarantine tank with my other new fish. He has a lot of personality. I have not named him yet, but one will come soon. He has one light, regular colored eye and one darker colored eye that looks like the telescope version of a button eye. Here are some photos:

I am still thinking her name is going to be Fio from Porco Rosso After a day of relaxing for her, tomorrow she will start with salt and prazi. Her fins are frayed, I am sure she was picked on but now she gets to heal and adjust to Oregon water in solitude (:

I was just browsing on RG, and saw this very interesting looking fish. It's a willow (single tail telescope), but doesn't it look like telescope-eye shubunkin? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-uUeN-fPbw
