So first so sorry I know I have been flooding the forums lately. But here goes: So I posted a thread earlier today about possible spawning and after determining it's not gonna happen, I have a problem. Bubba (orange high capped or regular oranda female) is being flat out mean to Rosie (sakura pearlscaled moor male) She's ramming Rosie in her belly and following him around and well, being a butt when Rosie gets to close. Mostly during feeding time. Now I separate them when they are fed because Rosie is a slow feeder and Bubba would probably jump out of the water for food if I asked. Even with that Bubba just won't give Rosie space and Rosie is becoming increasingly stressed. He has long thin poo but eats okay. 2-4 pellets at each feeding, which is probably to much but he was skinny when I got him. He is also slower then Bubba which seems to be a problem as Bubba is quite, playful I guess for a goldfish. I also think Rosie would do better with an experienced keeper and slower fish. He does have the telescope/moor eyes and doesn't see the best and Bubba is a classic teenage girl-Territorial and moody as heck. And she just rammed Rosie's side so I'm thinking it would be best to find Rosie a single fished home with an experienced keeper and get Bubba a Comet or Shubunkin or Fantail buddy. Or is there something else I can do? Bubba is also about 1/2 inch bigger then Rosie.
