  1. Hey guys! I was just taking pics of my ten gal and I thought I'd share The plant growth is coming along nicely. The tank houses my flagfish and dwarf frogs, and they love it in there! All of the inhabitants are all getting fat off of algae. I have two 12 year old amazon swords (They were part of my very first tank ^^), duckweed, and various other green things.
  2. I have $55 in Amazon Gift Cards burning a hole... In my cart so far I have an impeller for my filter and Hikari Lionhead (those have to stay), plus some black air tubing and suction cups (anyone know if 20mm or 38mm will be the right size suction cup for the standard size tubing?). I need a recommendation on black air wands, the longer the better - I have 12 & 15" blue ones right now, but when the sand gets disturbed you can see them, so that's why I'm wanting black. I'd also like a timer for the lights and an auto feeder, recommendations? Or... what other things do you just love, that I should check out? What about those little black mesh cups for plants, or anything else for plants? Then there's always Prime or a test kit, but I'm thinking more fun! Thanks!
  3. Wow, I just got a notification email from Amazon saying the Aqueon 50 ft water changer is marked down from $72 to $43.06 with free shipping! The 25 ft is also marked down, just not as steeply. I decided against buying a water changer simply for the water usage, but this would be a great deal for someone who needs a 50 footer!! Or hmm, maybe I should consider it just for refilling...
  4. Right now, Amazon has a really good price on the API freshwater master kit really cheaply. It's $16.47! If you have Amazon Prime, it's free shipping. Heck, I think it's free shipping even if you don't have Amazon Prime. If you are a student with an .edu email address, you can sign up for half a year of Amazon Prime for free! In any case, this is about 50% off what it normally costs, and a good bargain. If you don't have this kit, or about to run out, I would recommend this product highly! http://www.amazon.co...master+test+kit DISCLAIMER: Just to make it very clear, I'm not selling this product, and I am not in any way affiliated with Amazon or API or the seller. I just saw this sale elsewhere, and thought to share with everyone.
