  1. They are finally in the 40B and loving the space... My camera does them no justice...They look like bright balls of orange in the tank. Citrus Skipper
  2. The filters I have running on my 40B is an AC 70 which puts out 300 GPH and a AC 30 which puts out 150 GPH.. I also have one of those 20 gal rated corner filters, which honestly not sure what it really does for filtration....Technically I have the 10x filtration amount with the AC's, but when I put in the tank dimensions in a gallon calculator and it's giving me a 50 gallon calculation for the 40 breeder. So now I am wondering if I am under filtered. I have another AC 70 that I used for the QT that I can replace the AC 30 with by getting new media and adding the old media from the 30, but the 40 is newly cycled and I am already watching for bumps, and I don't want to be switching things now until the BB's are pretty solidly established. Am I ok for now, or should I add the 70 along with the other two for a month or just wait until the BB's are strong enough to make the switch?
  3. I'm wondering which is better for a single oranda without any additional fish-a 40 gallon breeder or a 40 gallon long? Thank you for any advice.
