  1. I have the aqueon water changer and was wondering what you guys recommend for compatible pump... and how to use it for faster water changes. I just moved to an apartment, and the water pressure isn't so great.
  2. Would a power head / pump be beneficial to a goldfish? Would it help make them a stronger swimmer? Or is this a bad idea? I didn't get one I just wondered if it would be an idea to get one...? Even a small one? Thanks!
  3. I don't have a way to use a Python, so I'm looking for a pump to use to change water. I need it to pump water from tank->bucket AND bucket->tank. Would this Harbor Freight fountain pump work? The choices for gph are 92, 158, 200, and 264. I figure 158gph should be enough, if it works at all. Any advice? http://www.harborfreight.com/158-gph-miniature-submersible-fountain-pump-68396.html
  4. So I get home from work today to the news that my main filter pump short circuited and almost caught fire today. It's been off for around 4 hours now. Will the BB still be alive?(All the filter media is still wet, but the water hasn't being flowing through) I have another filter I Might be able to run but I'm wary because the plug ended up immersed in water before and I haven't used it since. I wont be able to get another pump until next pay day - a week from now. Right now I have two smaller filters running, I don't know what kind they are or how may litres per hour they do. They were each rated for a 200 litre tank. My tank is 300 litres and the filter that died is the one that came with the tank So, will the BB still be alive now? Should I try setting up my other filter? If not, how should I keep the BB from my dead filter alive if they still are:(
