Definitoy an Oranda. Having the wen and all. it's a beautiful colour.
  6. That is a lovely looking pearl scale.
  7. Lovely fish, and great clear quality on your video. A*
  8. The more fish the merrier, you (and they) only live once.
  9. ******** removed due to voilent content********** Your bubble eye looks awesome.
  10. HAHAHAHA, Sushi is a brilliant name for a fish! Why didn't i think of that? So good.
  11. It was acyually my little siter who named him, but it turned out quite well because for a while he had a sort of black rim to his tail fin which made it look like a scythe.
  12. This is Death, he's gotten so big since i first got him (i couldn't get a picture with his wonderful fins in it) he's a common (possibly cross with a comet). These two lovelies are my white fantail and red capped oranda: Damien and Dandy. Damien is one of my newest, but Dandy is my first goldfish (along with Death). The next two pictures are of my partially sited lionhead Dorothy, she's blind in one eye, which to me made her all the more cuter. When i saw her in the shop i just had to buy her: picture one and picture two. And to finish off, here's one of the beautiful Dandy by herself. I know these aren't very good pictures so if anyone could give me tips on how to improve my photography they would be greatly appreciated.
  13. That description is wrong Tosakin
  14. That fish scares me a little...
  15. My betta is getting... better. He's swimming around more now, but keeping to the edges or hiding in the ship with his head poking out. His colour has come back too, a lovely red, so i called him Se?or Blaze. And for whoever asked what i was keeping him in- i'm keeping him in water, what else would i keep him in?
  16. I have to disagree, red caps can still have other markings like that red splodge, as long as the rest is white. It just means it's not as pure bred as other red caps.
  17. I got my first betta the yesterday and after just half an hour of him being home he looked, well, not brilliant. another half hour past and he was just layed still on a plant, so still in fact i thought he was dead. as i reached the net toward him to lift him out he shot away and for a while he looked a bit healthier. Anyway, just been to check on him now and his colour is coming back and he's swimming about more. Will he be ok? is he just stressed from moving homes? and a bit shy?
  18. wow, the shape kinda reminds me of a sun fish. how bizzare?
  19. Spanky? I think the name's sparky, but i prefer spanky. I know what i'm calling my next goldie.
  20. I live in Blackpool and i have to admit, the only other people i've seen with GFs is my girlfriend and an old mate of mine who had a habbit of pouring beer into his tank whenever he got drunk (which happened a lot) so he was constantly replacing them. lol
  21. What a great idea, i think i will have to do that when i get my second tank.
  22. Remarkable fish, very cute. Glad they're both doing well.
