  1. Yeah Dainichi is kinda like Hikari and the clay helps with digestion. I bought the sinking ones but I still soaked it just to make sure. My fish went crazy for it.
  2. Maybe ryukin? He grew a lot, didn't he golem? And dan, at night I lower the water current so they can have their nice relaxing sleep every night.
  3. Hey d_golem, the fish in your siggy is beautiful. How old was he in the first picture and how old in the last picture?
  4. Lol tundra reminds me of a truck. Maybe Boggles? kinda like bubbles and goggles together. haha
  5. Thanks for helping me figure out guys. Calico fantail he is.
  6. I also thought ryukin/pearlscale mix or fantail/pearlscale mix. But for now I will consider him as a calico fantail. Here is a video showing how hard it is to get a good picture of them.
  7. I searched up calico fantail in google and found a fantail that looks kinda like mine. http://www.bristol-aquarists.org.uk/goldfi...il/fantail6.jpg
  8. A new pic and a video. Enjoy! Edit: Video will be added later as it is still uploading.
  9. Depends on how long you keep lights on, how strong your pump and filter is. I have a pond and a fish tank but I don't think they make that much difference in the bills.
  10. Yes I fell in love with him when I first saw him. (hehe love at first sight). Anyways, his belly tells me he's a pearlscale but then we can barely see his pearlscales. Anyways, I'll try to get a better picture of him and his scales.
  11. I believe he is a mix of a pearlscale. As you can see on the last picture I posted you can see a little bit of pearl scales. I will try to get a better picture. But here, I have made a thread for identifying my fish's breed. The link: http://www.kokosgoldfish.invisionzone.com/...mp;#entry714287
  12. Yes. So I decided to name my Oranda, Tango. Thanks to blue for the name. My pearlscale, Tummy, because he is nice and round. and I am not very sure about my black moor yet.
  13. I'll try to get better pictures tonight. They just move so fast and my camera isnt that great.
  14. In this picture, you can see a little bit of his pop-up scales.
  15. Thanks for the comments everybody. Converse, He was labeled as a pearlscale but yea, he does not really look like a full pearlscale. Perhaps he is a mix of pearlscale/fantail or pearlscale/ryukin. Help identifying what my little "pearlscale" really is, anybody?
  16. Oooh nice. I like the name "tango." I will name that to my oranda because he when he swims it looks like he is dancing.
  17. Here is my little oranda. This one is my calico pearscale. This one is my black moor with my pearlscale. Help with names? I am not very good with naming fish.
  18. Planning on getting a second water pump for my pond for added aeration and filtration. Pond experts Looking for a pump that pumps around 500gph. Would you guys recommend any good pumps? Any bad pumps I should stay away from? Thanks..
  19. lol My dad also wanted dark blue. You can get almost any color you want for a background.
  20. Oh. I don't think it comes off that easily. I tried to wipe it with wet cloth and it didn't do anything.
  21. http://spaghoops.com/pond/venturi.htm anybody try this?
  22. Hmm.. haven't thought about that. I will ask my dad if you can easily get the paint off. I tried blue paper but it wasn't as bright because of the air and water pockets that get in between the background and glass.
