  1. I would do two rounds for sure. Can you get a closer pic of the white spots? Sorry it took me so long to reply. Work has been crazy . . .
  2. Why do you think it has no nutrients? Which Repashy formula are you feeding? And why do you think the NLS is so much easier to make? I have both and as far as I can remember they are the same 1/4 cup powder to 3/4 cup boiling water . . .
  3. A koi club is like other clubs--bunch of people who like koi, probably have ponds, get together and trade ideas, etc. I've never been to one but that's what I'd imagine. Shakaho could answer that much better. How do you find anything these days? Google it.
  4. that is one very big, very black fish. Impressive!!
  5. You need to use a photohosting site such as photobucket or imgur.
  6. and welcome to Kokos Please fill out the following form. You've answered some of the questions already but if you could fill it out it gives us more needed info. 7. I looked up some info on the med and it says it's active for up to 3 days after it's added. So it would make more sense to me to add it day 1, 3 and 5. I would medicate day 1 then do a 100% WC day 3 and medicate. Then do a 100% WC day 5 and medicate. It also said that external signs may take up to 7 days to improve so don't expect miracles right away.
  8. What are the package instructions? I've never used it . . . .
  9. Yes, go ahead and treat the chu only (no the other fish) with that. The tail looks like regrowth/healing. No need to worry about that.
  10. All the fish are in the same tank and this is the only one having problems? Will you post pics of the wen, tail and new red spots?
  11. and welcome to the forum. We'd love to see some pics of your fish.
  12. Oh Jenna! I'm so sorry you lost Betty. Such a sweet girl and we will all miss her. RIP Betty
  13. 1. 0.3% salt for 2 weeks. The heat isn't necessary unless ich pops up. 2. Prazi Pro, no salt, I typically do 2-3 rounds in QT then 1 more round if I'm adding to a tank with other fish. Temp at 75 is fine.
  14. You're absolutely right. No question . . . Or at least no question unless her water is toxic. But the combo of high ammonia and no dechlorinator is deadly for sure. Why didn't she use dechlorinator?
  15. Congrats on the new fish!! Why didn't you drive over and pick him up?! You could have picked out 4 more!
  16. You can crush up the pellets you feed the adults to a fine powder. You can also feed egg whites. Brine shrimp are great for them. If you'd like we can try and figure out where you went wrong so you can make that work . . . Welcome to Koko's.
  17. Justine looks to be quite pleased with her new fishies!
  18. Here ya go. Quote my post . . . 19. I love getting little fish and watch them grow.
  20. Cool!!! That would take me 3 years. so talented.
  21. So cute!! Love the names. colin was 2 when we got him his first goldfish. He named her Shoomey. He got a new fish about 6 months ago with similar coloring so, at the age of 13, he named him Shoomey Junior. i guess if if you're gonna make up a name you might as well keep using it.
  22. I think it's time to give up on training Rudy and start training my goldfish.
  23. Nice shape. Like Koko said, I'd fill it up and see what happens!
