  1. Hello everyone, please update your bookmarks to remove www if you have it in there, it will cause an error in your browser. For example... correct: https://kokosgoldfish.invisionzone.com incorrect: https://www.kokosgoldfish.invisionzone.com
  2. Sorry, glitch with the last post, had to get a screen shot..
  3. Looks really nice, I like the black background, the fish really stand out.
  4. We totally understand what you are saying. In some instances a person will come here and be a problem, but in a way where we keep having to ask them not to do this or that, but some people are a little challenged when coming to being cordial online and eventually they are either asked to leave or leave on their own. We don't always jump right to asking someone to leave, we are much more prone to give another chance in hopes everyone can get along. Sometimes people do not want to get along and thrive on drama. When that becomes clear the person is asked to leave or leaves on their own. Believe me we would love it if everyone was always nice and got along and I wish it didn't take so long and do so much damage to the forum when we try to give someone a chance that doesn't really want to get along. This unfortunately is the nature of a forum. Comparatively, this forum is much friendlier and mature that most. Thanks for bringing it up and I hope we are all on the same page.
  5. Hey, TD typing for Koko here, she says, If your silver solution is 10ppm then 50 drops, if a higher ppm adjust accordingly.
  6. Not sure what that means, but let's keep it friendly here.
  7. Thanks for understanding and appologies for not making it clear to begin with.
  8. When koko ask that something be done, we expect you to respect her and her rules. Those under 18 are not allowed to participate or post any longer in this raffle. That doesn't mean to continue posting and debating in the raffle thread, thank you.
  9. I've removed the off topic posts from this thread and I hope the parties involved are able to resolve their issue, for the sake of this pinned thread of Carol's, I thought it would be best. Thanks for understanding.

  11. I think you might misunderstand. We would notice a bad link as soon as it's posted, that's not the issue. What happened was OLD links that used to be goldfish related. Whoever owned a site we used to link to eventually sold it and the new owner put on it. So we unknowingly were linking to . When the link was first put up it was fine, but years later we discovered the content changed. I hope this clears it up.
  12. Of course you are all free to write letters and such, but please don't do it on behalf of, or in the name of Koko's. We have good reasons for asking this as it is also in the rules of the forum. Thanks for understanding.
  13. Everything really stands out with the dark BG, very nice.
  14. Links to external goldfish blogs and/or forums are not allowed. Is there someway you can embed the video here instead? Thanks.
  15. It will kink if you don't turn the hose along its axis when coiling to remove any torsion.
  16. Yes, E200 Nikon eclipse 100x digiscoped with my iPhone 4. To bad to know about the external link issue, guess I'll be going back to not posting here. Please don't leave. The external blog link rule is becaue a blog we used to link to got sold and became and adult site, we had no idea and only found out much later.
  17. We use both products for canister filters. The Fluval is a 304 and the Ehiem is a 2026 Pro. They are similar in size, but the Ehiem has a higher flow rate. We like the Ehiem better for several reasons. The Release mechanism for the tubes is much easier to use on the Ehiem. The Priming mechanism on the Ehiem is a large (about 4 inches wide) button that you can press down with both hands to prime, whereas the Fluval has a very thin plunger you must repeatedly plung to prime the unit. The tubing in the Ehiem is normal Green tubing. I believe the green color inhibits algae from growing inside. The Fluvals tubing is a corrugated opaque plastic. It kinks easily and you must use brackets where you want the tube to bend, or it will kink. Since the corrugations hold air, it is also more difficult to prime. I give this one to Ehiem, hands down.
