  1. I read somewhere that someone popped theirs with a sterilised needle saying it was some bacterial infection on a damaged scale. But I dno, if you google perarlscale bubble in Google images, there is actually pearlscales who have that exact bubble grown on-top on their head. Maybe it is just a deformity? 2. Hi all, I am seeking advice on my Oranda. I have an odd situation. Basically about 4 weeks ago my cute red cap Oranda died of dropsy [emoji3525] now I have 4 other goldfish in the tank and they are all fine. So 2 weeks ago I bought a new red cap Oranda to add to the family. Now out of nowhere he suddenly has dropsy as well and all the other goldfish are fine. Lucky for me I seemed to have got to treatment before the pine coneing stage, as I am now aware of the symptoms because of the passing of my other one. The swelling in the stomach area seems to be going down. However what I want to know is what should I do with my main tank, the Oranda is currently in a hospital tank but what are the chances this one got dropsy as well?do you think I had bad luck with the purchase and inherited the issue from the aquarium shop? or is their specifically a bacteria that effects only the Oranda breed? In which case should I be treating my entire tank with all the other goldfish ? Few deets, I run a cannister filter and sponge filter, tank is 182 ltrs, the fish are all only around 1.5 to 3 inches long and I do water changes 25 percent once a week and water condition with prime. I have 0 nitrate, nitrite and ammonia. Oh levels are 7.6. Any help is much appreciated. Sent from my SM-G985F using Tapatalk
