  1. He's beautiful, Dawn... I actually ended up becoming inspired to get a little one.
  2. That, to me, look's like a little chubby fantail, with a tad amount of Ryukin, haha.
  3. I currently have 2 tropical tanks. One is a divided 10 gallon with a female Siamese fighting fish, as she can't get along with anyone; Guppies on the other side. They get 20-30% water changes twice a week. I have an Angelfish tank too, it is a 30 gallon with two Angelfish. They receive 20-30% water changes twice a week too. I find them to be just the same as the goldfish tank to maintain and keep healthy, my only issue is if one of my heaters break, haha.
  4. Thank you Heidio30, Marbles sends her thank's!
  5. You have a very bright and colourful tank, I love it!
  6. I finally got my Angelfish dream, now for my next one, and probably the last one for a while. Clownfish. Anyone who has one/multiple ones or may not have one, please feed me all the information you have on them! Thank you!
  7. Thank you all for the lovely words, and thank you for the advice too! However, I have another question that has risen. My friend has requested the 40 gallon back.. I couldn't decline, it was for his son who is suffering pretty badly right now from injury and he just loves fish, so I lent it to him. My current Angelfish, Marbles, is now in a 30 gallon tub, which she seems pretty happy in. Now, I have been notified above, but could there be an exception formed? And would it work. Here is my question. I was wondering if I could put one more Angelfish in with Marbles. She is a female Angelfish, around 2 inches tall, she has been on her own for about a week or two now. Could I put another Angelfish in with her? She isn't exactly a hostile fish, while I watched her in the tiny LFS tank alongside 6 or so other Angelfish, she wasn't attacking anyone, she just swam around. I don't exactly know if I should get a male or female or one at all. I heard female's get very territorial during spawning, but she would probably pair with a male. Can I have other people's opinion's? Please and thank you!
  8. This is my butterfly-tail, apologies for the blurry images, her friend's and her would not stay still, they were all begging for food, haha. She is the brown one, I believe this is her baby colour, I think she will change colour. Anyone else have one?
  9. I purchased one! She is a female I think...She is a Koi Angelfish and her name is Marbles! The tank is not completed yet, you cannot see it yet!
  10. Update on her too, she is fully healed up and has quite a large appetite, haha. She is fine now. Thank you all for the assistance!
  11. Just in case this is taking up space on the forums or anything in relation, these two fantails are doing brilliant now. Thank you all for the assistance!
  12. Thank you all for your replies! Two weeks left until I travel to the good quality pet shop, haha. I will see if I can find some tall plants, if I cannot, I will purchase small live ones that have potential to grow. I like the idea of mollies in the tank, too..
  13. He is absolutely stunning!
  14. Thank you for your response, again. I might get some more angels.. But I must control myself! I like the cardinal tetras! I may get some of those too.. As for the sand, I think I will see if I can find tall live ones, too!
  15. Thank you for your time! I have seen some bristle nose plecos for sale in my LFS, they seem to look well. Also, if I added danios or rasboras to the tank, how many would I need for them to be happy? Also, yes, it will be just one angelfish! It will be hard for me not to pick up more, but I must control myself, haha. The tank is quite tall, so you think I should purchase tall live plants, not tall fake ones? I will be using sand, as I have a new obsession with it, but I heard around that sand can suffocate plant's roots?
  16. I wish I lived in the US too, I even have 2 25-30 gallon tanks spare..
  17. Look at them all! They're very cute, I love the pond design and your garden in general, haha.
  18. Oh dear, glad it was not something worse. That morsel of food must have been really important, haha.
  19. So I finally received my 40 gallon from a friend. Now, I am going to be purchasing my heater first, but I will be purchasing, finally, an angelfish for it. However, I want one more fish to fit into the tank. Now I know angelfish are quite territorial fish and would probably eat my guppies if I put them in with it, so that is a huge 'no', but what types of other fish do you think I could add to the tank? I was sort of looking for algae eaters, plecos.. Along that line of fish. Any recommendations?
  20. I may be late to the party..but, I use WHAM tubs. The are food-safe and are polypropylene, 5. I love them.
  21. Excellent! I'll begin my hunt for some blood worms!
  22. I don't, but I can try getting my hands on some. I heard they are good for them..?
  23. I can't get photo-bucket to work, at all. During feeding today, she did eat one pellet. I think she was in a 2-5 gallon tank, I honestly do not know. But she is in my 10 gallon quarantine right now. I have been doing 90% water changes daily. Also her is a photo, I honestly do not know if it will work or not..This was snapped on my phone, excuse the terrible quality. It doesn't exactly do her justice. This was the only good photo I could get, I may have recently dropped my phone into the sink..
