  1. Yeah. I feed all my tropical fish goldfish flakes.
  2. Its just algae and it's harmless. They like a lot of light.
  3. Rosy red minnow or aka fathead minnow. You can probably buy some golden shinners from a bait shop if you want something a little bigger.
  4. In the wild there are all kinds of worms and small insects. So you shouldn't worry.
  5. I just recently dropped the goldfish flakes. I thought I had it close but then the cap came off and everything fell to the ground. Almost half of it was wasted.
  6. No because they are green and blooming flowers. It just seems that they keep growing new roots and shedding the old ones.
  7. I like the look of them but the roots keeps rotting and then it just dirty up the pond. I'm no longer keeping them.

  12. Actually, the goldfish is still alive and manage to revived himself. I did lost a golden shinner though.
  13. It's the nitrite. Just tested the water. I don't get it because I already did water changes. Why is it still high?
  14. I have fish dying. Last couple days the fish been swimming at the top like they are gasping for air but i already did water changes twice and now 2 fishes died alreday. I have a waterfall going so there no way the water should be lacking oxygen. I had this tank running for 2 years no problems until now. I'm pretty upset. My largest goldfish is dead.

  16. Oh i am sorry... Did you ever discover the cause Visualkierockstar? Not really. From what read from the internet it's from a bacteria.
  17. I had a similar problem with a koi and it died.
  18. I think you should do 100% full water changes because the worms are free swimming parasites until they find a host.
  19. My goldfishes sit at the bottom sometimes but when they see me they get excited for food and starts swimming. I'm always wondering if that's a normal thing they do.
