  4. 5 day rounds, 1 teaspoon per gallon of salt. i would do the water change replace the salt, then the next day do the water change and replace salt and prazi and repeat every five days. Lis gave me the guide over instagram on how to do the rounds and the spots disappeared then, but then came back, so i did one round of prazi, and before that i used melafix because her fins where slightly tearing at the rims, but i only used melafix for a week, but Mike or someone i forgot told me to not use prazi since i had already treated so he told me to do a .3 concentration of salt build up so i did and her tail semi-healed during that because it was tearing where the white is not orange and it healed. But now the spots are back.

  7. ill try the sponge media on the outflow, thanks yall!
  8. like a smart water bottle or something lol Ill see what i do, because wouldnt the baffle cause like no surface agitation and isnt that important? Or should i get a canister filter? I really dont like canisters because we used to have one and it was great until it was not and it leaked
  9. what is epoxy? and i dont own a saw, or drill Do you think at home depot they can do it for me? And would you mind showing me what it looks like?
  10. So i have an Aquaclear 70 on a 20 gallon long, i had black sand and removed it because im getting Caribsea Moonlight Sand and i heard that its very fine grained. So i cut the intake pipe of the filter to be a little shorter and not suck in all the sand. Im also ordered a fluval prefilter sponge. But to state the real issue, the current the filter makes always disturbs the sand where the filter water hits the front glass and propels down and exposes the bottom of the tank. How can i make the water current less forceful on the sand? My tank is currently bare bottom so i dont have an issue yet but i soon will.
  11. how do you add a spray bar? i thought that was only for canisters
  12. just a week ago or longer about, do you have any experience with strong water current and sand, i have an aquaclear 70 on a 20 long and when i have sand, the current moves it and leaves the glass showing where the water hits the wall and circulates to the bottom.
